NOTICE: 

The March 2025 Book Club will meet on Tuesday, March 18th at 5:30 pm at the Oakland Public Library. The Book Club members will review Sipsworth by Simon Van Booy.

WE HAVE AN E-FAX LINE NOW! The e-fax number is 207-241-4284. Fee: $1.00 per page in or out.

UPDATE: Beginning February 2025 the amount of books allowed to be checked out will be:

  • Individual accounts 8 books per checkout and one renewal.
  • Family accounts 20 books per checkout and one renewal.
The quarterly Library Advisory Board Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 5:00 pm in the Reading Room of the Oakland Public Library.

GrowSmart Maine will host a Basic Internet Safety Class on Friday, March 14th, 2025 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am in the Reading Room at the Library.
